It's hard to imagine a fighting game with a story as complex as its hand-to-hand combat is awesome. Believe it! THE KING OF FIGHTERS: Evolution represents the next wave of tournament-style fighting: More than 30 characters each with his or her own unique storyline and motives battle it out to see which team's the most worthy of victory. If you're a fan of the original game or any of its previous sequels, you'll appreciate the inclusion of familiar faces like Benimaru Nikaido, Shingo Yabuki, and two Kyo Kusangi look-alikes, as well as a bunch of new fighters, such as K' and Maxima. The combatants are divided into seven teams, with four fighters joining forces to take down the other groups. If you're in trouble, you can slip into Armor mode for a few moments in order to fend off your opponents, or rely on brilliant "desperation" moves that will occasionally turn the fight around with the push of a button. There are plenty of options to spice things up in this brilliantly involving take on the popular fighting genre. Play alone or challenge a friend.
