In 1992, 15 famous baby-boomer writers formed a band for the American Booksellers Association convention in Anaheim, CA. Known as the Rock Bottom Remainders, the band included Dave Barry (lead guitarist), Stephen King, Amy Tan, Barbara Kingsolver, and Roy Blount, Jr. They wound up doing a two-week East Coast tour. This book contains the memoirs of the band members, beginning with the faxes that set it all in motion.
