So I have 2 brand new copies of Simpsons Season 12 that I wanted to put on here, and the first one I posted got a response immediately. I tried to post the 2nd one and ST said they couldn't find any matches for it, which is BS since it's a hot item. It's still in my "items I have" section, but doesn't seem to find any matches. Does the first copy's trade need to be accepted first before the 2nd one can find matches?

Yes, one trade needs to be completed unless you go to your profile and select yes on "allow more than one copy of an item to be added to my want list" if you want both on at the same time.

Sherbertbones is trying to add a second copy to the have list, not the want list.

You can list multiple copies, but I'm not sure about the protocol for trading them. For example you'd get the same result if you tried adding another copy of a title while one copy was under review, in the event you were trying to, I don't know, make a trade right away rather than wait for the review to be done. I've seen multiple copies of the same item available from the same trader, but I'm not sure if initiating a trade for one copy also makes the other copies unavailable to trade. Sounds like it.

I don't remember ever reading anything official about this, but I can imagine some scenarios where it would be a safeguard.
