You can also check a site like half.com or amazon and find the UPC or ISBN there. Just make sure when entering your item that you note in the description the different code - and any other differences i.e. cover art, year, edition, etc. Good luck!

What items do you have? SwapTree is only for trading books, CDs, DVDs, and video games. You'll usually find the ISBN on the copyright page of a book in addition to a UPC on the back cover. CDs and DVDs also have the UPC on the back cover, occasionally on the spine or the disc itself.

I personally have had a few books with the UPC code and an ISBN number identified, however, Swaptree did not recognize them in the system.

Sledrunner........... go to "finderscheapers.com" with your book title.It will give you 2 ISBN numbers.Try the ISBN-13 to get your book into the Swaptree system....If not, try the other.Make sure you pick the right cover.Hardcover or Paperback.
