Advanced Reader Copy (ARCs)
Hello!
Are we allowed to post ARCs (advanced reader copies) for trade?
Thanks for any info!
Regards,
Amy

yes
but you have to say that its an ARC in the description and make sure you list if its a paperback or a hardcover or if there is anything different about it such as a paper cover or whatever that is different from the regular release.

It isn't site policy, but I also always rate ARCs as just "acceptable" because they are ARCs and note the actual physical condition (which might well be like new) in the description.
I avoid initiating any trades with my "acceptable" items.

i personally don't find that necessary. i have swapped some ARCs that i have had that i listed as in very good condition because they were in very good condition and no one complained in the least bit. if they do not have a standard binding, then i might lower it (such as i had one that just had a paper cover instead of a normal bookcover which i did indeed list as acceptable) but if they are exactly like the regular copies in every way except they have the words "Advance Reading Copy" and is in near perfect condition then i don't see how that makes the book merely acceptable.
just because the book is an ARC doesn't make it incomplete or not good condition. the content is exactly the same as the regular release.
