Changing a rating after finding problems with DVD play.
I know this sounds horrible, but how do you change a rating if you find problems with a DVD after you rated the user. I guess we should have to watch the movies and listen to whole CDs before rating, but I thought the damage was not enough to put a less than positive review. The scuffs on the DVD were not disclosed which is why I started watching it before rating, but the skipping didn't start until well into the movie. Can I/should I change my rating from positive to neutral or negative (I mentioned in the review that the disc was scuffed/scratched, but that it played well so far)?
Is this petty or worth the effort to change? Thank you in advance for any diplomatic feedback.

Sure....
If you can change the rating, do it. But next time, watch/listen first.

Thank you for the feedback.
I appreciate your response to my post. I realize it was my responsibility to check the media better before rating. I know it is not worth getting the rating changed as I don't think it was intentional. Again, as I have realized, it is just a lesson learned.

You actually cannot change the rating once you've left it, anyway. So, as you know, make sure you actually check out the item before rating, since it's to everyone's benefit that user ratings are accurate.

i agree with the others, i always watch the dvd first. it may take me a day or two to rate, but at least i know all is good. you may not be able to do much now, sorry.
