The discussion forums are the primary venue for community interaction on Swaptree. Post your questions to be answered by forum moderators and fellow members, discuss recent developments or gossip about your favorite new books and films. Most importantly, all forum users must follow the Discussion Forum Rules.

1. Please treat one another with respect. The forums are to be used for constructive communication between Swaptree members, forum moderators and Swaptree staff. Personal attacks are not constructive, nor will they be permitted. It is unacceptable to harass or threaten another Swaptree user.
2. Forum content is a reflection of Swaptree. No obscene, offensive, or sexually explicit language is allowed. Furthermore, comments made in all CAPS are generally an indication that you are yelling and will be removed.
3. Respect the privacy of other users. Do not discuss the contact information of any other Swaptree member on the forums. Also, the forums are not the proper place to post questions about or discuss a specific trade or other user. If you have a question or comment regarding a specific trade or user, those questions need to be directed to Swaptree support.
4. You take responsibility for your postings. You participate in our discussion forums at your own risk. Swaptree takes no responsibility for the content or opinions posted by members in these forums. In addition, Swaptree is not responsible for any transactions that may be negotiated or agreed to in the discussion forums- those transactions are the sole responsibility of the members involved.
5. Keep discussions relevant and on-topic. Threads may also be moved to a more appropriate forum if they have been placed incorrectly. Forum threads may be closed if the conversation becomes repetitive, unreasonably argumentative, or an official answer has been provided by Swaptree.
6. No advertising is allowed. We prohibit the advertisement and solicitation of all propositions for both personal and commercial purposes. You may link to informational websites, however links to commercial sites are generally not allowed and will be removed.
7. Spamming is an annoyance. Swaptree members do not appreciate or respond positively to spam. All spam posts will be removed promptly. In addition, the posting user may be suspended from Swaptree.
8. Discussion forums are moderated. The forums may be overseen by Swaptree users who Swaptree has selected to serve as moderators. These users can be identified by the phrase "Forum Moderator" under their username. Moderators help to answer questions, provide suggestions and resolve disputes, however in all cases, Swaptree Staff maintains the final say in all decisions that may be made in conjunction with the discussion forums or in the use of the site.

Swaptree reserves the right to close or delete any thread for any reason. Violating forum rules may result in suspension of posting privileges and/or account termination.
