Though the musical focus of these discs is on music from alternative acts like Audio Adrenaline ("Get Down"), Delirious? ("Gravity"), and Plumb ("Stranded,") there is a nice assortment of music from other genres to leaven the mix.The pedal steel-laced "I've Always Loved You," from Third Day, and "Nobody Loves Me Like You," from Jars of Clay lend an inviting roots-rock warmth to the proceedings. Efforts by O.C. Supertones ("Away from You") and The W's ("The Rumor Weed Song") prove that Christian themes pair well with a ska-powered instrumental background. R&B artists are also given an opportunity to voice their affection for Christ, with contributions from Out of Eden ("River"), Anointed ("Revive Us"), and Winans Phase2 "It's Alright (Send Me)."
