Full title: Shape Fitness Music-Cardio 2: Pure Rock.
Shape Magazine seems to appreciate that working out to music does not necessarily mean subjecting oneself to repetitive dance tunes. The musical decade focused on in this workout album--the 1980s--was an era of varied styles, and this collection offers elements of both new wave (Missing Person's "Walking in LA") and hard rock (Bachman Turner Overdrive's "Taking Care of Business"). The collection also shows a fondness for some slightly more obscure picks from that time, such as Robert Palmer's "You're Amazing" and "Head First" by Baby X. This refreshing respite from the usual radio fare promises to give any workout an energy boost.
